Thursday was the Zoo day! Boys and me were all very looking forward to go to the zoo, especially me, because it was my first time visiting the world-famous San Diego Zoo. According to Google, the San Diego Zoo is a zoo in Balboa Park housing over 3,700 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies.

There are always millions of people in San Diego Zoo. We waited at least half an hour just to get into the zoo. Uncle Paul made all of us a member of zoo, so we can enter the zoo any time for free. The first thing we did after getting into the zoo was to take the bus tour. We didn't wait to long to get on the bus, which is a good thing. It is a double-decker bus, we sat in the lower layer.

Taking the bus tour right after you got into the zoo is definitely the best choice. It will take you looking around the whole zoo, so you could easily know where your favorite animals are. Another good thing is, you can take lots of good pictures on the bus. (But you might need to wait for about half an hour)

I know there are many cats in San Diego Zoo (cats like leopard, mountain lion and jaguar, not kitten!), and cats are my favorite. They are fierce but lovely, and they are very beautiful. But unfortunately, I didn't successfully see all the cats in San Diego Zoo today.

Eating in San Diego Zoo is not easy. The foods are not only expensive, but hard to get, there are always lots of people lining up. I had a slice of pizza with some no-dressings salad, that's it, and it cost me almost 10 dollars. But uncle Paul said that San Diego Zoo is a not-for-profit organization, they use these money to take care of animals.

After eating, we went to see the California native species which includes the animal which Ethan most want to see, two-headed snake. But unfortunately, the two-headed snake was not there that day... so Ethan was a bit disappointed.

Next, we went to the Insect House, the place where Ethan always wanted to go. He was going crazy watching those insects, he can't even get out from the Insects House! Well, everyone like different things, I don't like insects at all...

Another must-ride rides besides bus in San Diego Zoo is the cable car. It's called Skyfari in San Diego Zoo, we can take a break on the Skyfari, and get a bird's-eye view of the whole zoo. The scenery on the Skyfari is fantastic, actually we can see not only the zoo, but the church or some buildings outside of the zoo.

To get boarded on the Skyfari Cable Car is actually very easy, it would take at most only 15 minutes, unlike the tour bus. It's definitely the best thing to do if you are getting tired walking.

We then went to the Wildlife Areas. I really appreciate that uncle Paul and boys could walk to this area with me just to let me see my favorite animals, although I saw only a beautiful lioness, but I can come back next time.

We end up our zoo trip in the gift shop, I bought a t-shirt that has San Diego Zoo and lion pattern on it. It's a very cool t-shirt!
